     RESERVATIONS
How do I make a reservation on otel.com?
1. Click the "Book It" button from either the Search Results page or from any Hotel Details page for the hotel you wish to book.
2. Enter the information requested on the booking form. On this page you will enter guest and payment information - including credit card and cardholder information. You will also indicate any preferences or special requests on this page.
3. Click the "Continue" button at the bottom of the page. You will then be taken to the second page of the Booking Form.
4. On the second page, review the details of your reservation and read important terms and conditions applying to your reservation. Check the box indicating that you have read and agree to all provisions of the Terms and Conditions, then click Submit.

Please note that if the bank which issued your credit card is part of the Verified by Visa or MasterCard SecureCode networks, you will be taken to a user authorization page before your reservation is confirmed. You are required to enter the user authorization information requested in order to complete your reservation.

Can otel.com take my reservations by phone, or do I have to book online?
In addition to booking online, you can also call our Customer Service line to make a reservation.

How late can I make my reservation?
Reservations must be made at least 4 days prior to the check-in time, defined as 12:00 noon destination time on the day of check-in. To take advantage of the lowest rates and widest selection, you should make your reservation as early as possible.

How do I know which room type I should reserve?
Your choice of room type depends on the number and type (i.e. adults/children) of occupants who are to stay in the room. On the Search Page, the room type drop down key specifies the number of occupants which can be accommodated by each type of room.

Can I ask for a special room type or make some other special request?
Requests for special room types (e.g. non-smoking, view, high floor, etc.) - as well as other special requests - can be made at the time of booking, but are not guaranteed. Such requests cannot be made or changed once the reservation is confirmed.

Is breakfast included with my booking?
Breakfast is always included free of charge (unless specified otherwise) with all bookings made with otel.com, and may consist of either a continental breakfast, or - subject to availability - a hot buffet-style breakfast.

Why should I prepay for my booking?
The special arrangements with hotel partners which make these great rates possible require payment at time of confirmation.

What is the Prepaid Accommodation Voucher, and why do I need it?
The Prepaid Accommodation Voucher is a document showing that your reservation has been booked and confirmed. We recommend that you print and keep this voucher as some hotels may ask you to present it at the time of check-in. The voucher also holds important reservations information, including your confirmation number and hotel contact information.

How can I check the status of my reservation?
You may check the status of your reservation(s) at any time through the My Account link.

When can I check on the status of my reservation with my hotel?
You may check on the status of your reservation with your hotel at any time using your confirmation number. Please note, however, that if you call the hotel more than 7 days prior to your check-in date, they may not be able to reference your reservation by name. Names of customers booking our allotments are submitted to hotels 5-7 days prior to check-in.

What if the hotel is unable to find my reservation when I check-in?
In the highly unlikely event that the hotel cannot find your reservation, please be sure to present them your Prepaid Travel Voucher. If problems persist, call our Emergency Customer Service line, available 24 hours a day.

Are your rates per room or per person?
Daily rates are always displayed on a per room, per night basis.

Do your rates include taxes and surcharges?
The daily rates displayed on otel.com include all applicable taxes and surcharges.

Do children get a discount?
Infants under 2 years of age stay free. Children between 2 and 12 years of age are subject to a discount. When searching for hotels, choose room types which accommodate children, and indicate the number of children aged 2 through 12 you are traveling with. Rates for rooms occupied by children will reflect children's discount.

I have heard that a number of hotels in the USA are charging resort fees. Will my hotel make this charge?
Some hotels, particularly in the USA do charge a resort fee which must be paid to the hotel Directly. This is typically $10 to $20 a room a night. Please check with the hotel directly for this information. Our company is not responsible for resort fee charges and have no control over their implementation.

     CANCELLATIONS & CHANGES
What is your cancellation and change policy?
Please do be aware that while the majority of our hotels have a 4 days cancellation policy, some hotels have different policies. Please check your hotel voucher or the ‘My account' section of the website for the cancellation policy relating to the hotel you have booked.

1. All cancellations and amendments must be made online through the 'My Account' section of the web site. We will not be bound by nor responsible for any changes and cancellations made directly with the hotel.

2. No penalty for cancellations or amendments up to 4 days prior to initial check-in time, defined as 12:00 noon destination time on date of initial check-in.

3. Cancellations made within 4 days of the check-in date will be assessed a one night room rate, plus applicable taxes and fees. No cancellations on or after check-in date. No refunds for no shows or early checkout.

4. Amendments are subject to availability at any time. Within 4 days of check-in time and subject to availability, there will be no penalty for amendments for the first request from your original booking. Further amend requests after the first one will be assessed 10 EUR or 15 USD charge for each time if the amendment is confirmed.

What is a "no show"?
You are considered a "no show" if you made a reservation and never checked in, but did not inform of us of your intention to cancel. As per our cancellation policy, there are no refunds for "no shows."

How can I change or cancel my reservation?
Please note that cancellations and changes can only be made as per otel.com's Cancellations and Changes Policy as put forth in our Booking Terms.

Cancellations

To cancel any reservation:
1. Click the My Account tab at the top and login to your member pages with your member ID and password. You will then see a list of all your active, pending, and canceled reservations.
2. Once your bookings are displayed, you may cancel any reservation simply by clicking the CANCEL button found in the far right section of the listing.

Changes

To change your reservation:
1. Click the My Account tab at the top and login to your member pages with your member ID and password. You will then see a list of all your active, pending, and canceled reservations.
2. Click the CHANGE button found at the bottom of the reservation listing. You will then be directed to the Change Reservations page.
3. On the Change Reservations page, change dates and/or room types to suit your new accommodation requirements.
4. If there is availability matching the changes you have made, the new reservation will be re-priced. If total charges for the new reservation exceed those of the previous one, you will be directed to a payment page to pay for the difference. The new reservation will not be confirmed until payment has been completed.

What is FivePlus Loyalty Program?
FivePlus is a loyalty program which rewards you every time you make a hotel reservation directly through the otel.com website. Unlike other hotel loyalty programs FivePlus does not limit you to a particular hotel chain or brand, and the credits you earn with each booking are immediately redeemable towards your next hotel booking made through otel.com. Whenever you book accommodations through otel.com, you earn 5% of the total value as credits towards your next hotel booking made through otel.com. Each FivePlus credits earned count as one dollar (1 USD) towards your next hotel reservation made through otel.com.

How will I use my FivePlus credits?
Whenever your FivePlus balance exceeds one credit, you may use FivePlus credits towards you next booking made through otel.com. When making a booking, the number of credits available to use towards your reservation will be displayed in the FivePlus section of your booking form. You have the option of using all or part of the FivePlus credits you have earned by entering the amount you wish to use towards your purchase into the corresponding box on the booking form. You will then only have to charge the balance of the total price (i.e. total price minus FivePlus credits used) to your credit card.
