Was just right for us
Our family (parents & 3 children 14-19 yrs) stayed here in two rooms recently, and we couldn't fault it.
Breakfast was excellent, very comprehensive and staff very friendly. For other meals, there are three supermarkets within 3 minutes walk, and the kitchenette in the rooms allowed us to prepare our other meals, although there are several restaurants around also.
The S-Bahn is 6 minutes walk away and Dusseldorf city centre is about 10 minutes on the train. Group / day tickets make this a very inexpensive way to get around for a family. There are also bus services from right outside the hotel to the city centre and to other local destinations.
The hotel is suitated in a residential area and is very quiet; far enough from the railway not to hear it. Rooms were very spacious and clean and the extra bed we needed in one room was comfortable. Our two rooms had balconies overlooking quiet gardens with garden chairs making the space useful and comfortable.
The Hotel brochure reccommends visiting the Schloss Benrath and we would certianly agree - the grounds are outstanding and a breath of fresh air, especially on a hot afternoon.
We had five really good days here and would certainly stay again in the future

Great experience
I recently stayed at Acora Hotel which has been a pleasant stay. The hotel is easy to find. It takes about half an hour to get to the hotel from the airport. The location is ideal the 'Old Town' is within walking distance. I recommend you take a boat trip to get a full view of this part of the city. Amazing! This hotel has a decent atmosphere. Breakfast is rich with a wide selection of cereals, marmalades, sausages, cheese and fresh fruit. Accomodation is comfortable. My room was a quite large room with a comfortable bed. Bathroom was spotlessly clean. I ordered room service once. The service was fast and effective. Food was nice. Staff was polite. I loved this hotel! Would stay here again.
