Very good and luxurious hotel
Good service, clean, near metro and a very good price (65 Euro/night).

This hotel was excellent. The room was fantastic, clean sheets and towels every day, spacious, and spotlessly clean. There was also a fridge in the room, which was well stocked with drinks,nuts and chocolate, and also gave you the facility to supply and keep cool your own drinks. It was very hot when we were there (Aug '03) and the air conditioning was excellent. The breakfasts were superb with lots of variety, fresh fruit, yoghurts, every kind of croissant imaginable, bacon, eggs, rolls, cheese, cold meats absolutely everything you could think of. The staff were friendly and helpful. It was also only about a 5 minute walk from Central Station and 2 minutes from the nearest metro. We would highly recommend the Doria Grand.

I really enjoyed staying at this hotel. The room was spacious and clean, and the breakfast was one of the best free hotel breakfasts I've experienced. I could feel they are doing their best to serve the customers. I booked the room through gtahotels.com where the hotel was rated as three star. But the hotel was actually four star and I totally agree with this rating.

Its such a nice and elegant hotel, they have got everything, you named them. Small Fridge which you can buy fizzy/ cold drinks from the supermarket nearby, about 3 mins walk to the nearest Restaurant , it only cost 5 euros for the tomato & basil pasta. Also there's a Chinese Restaurant nearby if you order a set dinner for 2, it only cost around 22 euros from starter to main course. In the hotel, they served English Breakfast everyday, scamble egg, bacon, sausages, cereal, fresh juice, tea, coffee, fruits, crossants. If I go back to Italy in the future, I'll definately choose this hotel.

Very pleasantly surprised at the quality of the hotel for the price. Not the greatest of locations but easy walk from central rail station. A/C worked well and had a fabulous breakfast. It is definitely worth the price.

Wonderful hotel. LOCATION: Location was fine, with restaurants/internet nearby. Metro stop was nearby and hotel is 2 stops away from the duomo (city center). Walk to city center was about 25 minutues. ROOMS were big, nicely decorated and clean (ie no carpet/furniture stains). Really a 4*hotel. Bathroom was large and modern and clean with HOT water readily available. Air conditioning was always on. STAFF was helpful. BREAKFAST was good. Would highly recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our stay at the Doria Grand Hotel. The room was clean, modest but comfortable, the staff was polite and helpful, and the price was reasonable for Milan. The only noise we heard was made by horns honking outside when AC Milan won the league championship!. The hotel is an easy walk from the train station (Milan Centrale) and one block over were modestly priced shops and restaurants. It is not the most scenic area but the Duomo and main shopping area is about four stops on the subway. Or you can get some excercise and hike there in about 30 minutes. We would definitely stay at the Doria again.

i chose this hotel because it was the cheapest where i wanted to stay...stayed a week..i totally LOVED the place..the rooms were clean and full of personality..not boring at all...the desk staff was friendly and helpfull..provided me with maps and directions to everywhere i wanted to go...the included breakfast buffet was amazing..it was our main meal of the day!.....the location was amazing as well...supermarket across the street,and 5 mins from the central station..made it super easy to take day trips to other citys,and to get to and from the airport...the place a very welcoming cool retro feel to it....just can't recommend the palce enough..we travel aot..and this is one hotel i can't find a single flaw with..it really added to our overall vacation expeirance...will stay there next time for sure.

We had enjoyable stay at the Doria Grand. It is a five minute walk to the Central Train Station and has two subway stops close by. The breakfast was one of the best we had in Italy with alot of choices. The rooms were very comfortable and an early check in was no problem (it was off season).
