Brief History
Agadir used to be a small fishing village during the Medieval Era. The Portuguese arrived in Agadir in 1505 building a trading post which brought prosperity to the city for two centuries. Two huge earthquakes hit Agadir which caused a lot of damage and casualty in the city, but King Muhammad V rebuilt the Agadir in 1961.
