This grand 15th-century palace pointed-arch windows stands on a canal-lined street. Glass doors open to a marble-floored lobby with Oriental rugs, antique columns, and exposed-beam ceiling. Guests are largely European couples, along with some international tour groups.
Housed in a truly marvellous 15th century Palazzo, the Al Sole was once the residence of the dynastic Marcello family, who still own and run the hotel to this day. |

We stayed in Al Sole Palace Hotel from the 15th to the 19th of August 2008. The hotel has an excellent location, not far from the city centre and the main attractions of the city. You need no more than a 15-minute-walk to get to the railway station of Santa Lu...
