This is a truly lovely hotel if rather expensive for Portugal. The service is excellent and the food to be reccommended. One word of caution however the hotel is split into 2 parts the main hotel (on the Rocky outcrop) and an old Villa/Palace over the road facing the sea. I have stayed in both and would suggest you try the Palace/Villa , despite the 20 yard walk to dinner and breakfast in the main hotel it is well worth it. The palace has real charm, the rooms are superb!
