perfect location...
I stayed recently at this hotel on my trip to London. It was a wonderful thing that the hotel was close to the major attractions of this beautiful city. I really enjoyed my stay. The room had many amenities such as kettle, hairdryer, shower and a comfortable bed with good pillows. The hotel was clean and well-designed. I liked breakfast. I didn't have any trouble about the hotel. I spent 2 comfortable nights there. I would stay there again and I recommend it to all my friends! |

Budget hotel with a good location...
My girlfriend and I stayed at Alexandra Hotel for 4 days. We booked this hotel without reading any comments and our stay was a good one without any trouble. The hotel's ideal location was so nice that we were able to go for a stroll in the Hyde Park and we easily accessed to the major attractions in London through public transportation. Our room was clean and the breakfast was good and fresh. Luckly we didn't have anything lost or stolen during our stay.
I can recommend this hotel if you are planing to go to London and searching for a budget friedly place to stay. |

The Alexandra Hotel was kind enough to take us in when the sub-standard staff at the Senator Hotel had overbooked their hotel. While the room we were in was very tiny, the staff of the hotel was excellent. They were caring and kind and very sympathetic to my dilemma (a Mom traveling with children!) and even juggled their rooms around to give me elevator (lift) access for my baggage. They helped me make telephone calls, called me cars, gave me directions, and were cooperative and pleasant throughout the whole bad adventure.
While our room was teeny-tiny, it was clean and well-stocked with a nice tea and coffee service, hair dryer, radio, etc., and the bathroom had a lovely big tub with loads of HOT WATER!
It may be a "budget" hotel in room size, but it's not "budget" in excellent and polite customer service. I would highly recommend it for young travelers, students who wanted good basic fare. It's in a great location, as well. When I go back without my children, I'd happily stay with them! |
