Alixares Hotel is a modern 4 star hotel constructed in 1982 and renovated in 1994. The hotel is located just 230 meters from Granada's most historic monument, the Alhambra Palace, but is at a distance to the city of Granada itself. Alixares Hotel's facilities include a bar, restaurant serving up a mix of Spanish and International fare, it also boasts an outdoor swimming pool, conference facilities and a solarium. Its spacious rooms and wide range of services make the hotel much in demand in the conference and catering world.
The hotel also has an exterior terrace. The lobby is decorated with the familiar and conventional Andalusian colourful tiles. There is a large reception area, with marble floors and a reception desk. There are also spacious seating areas where one can watch television or read. This is a particulaly popular hotel, due to its ideal location. |

We had a splendid three days stay at Alixares Hotel and we received a full value for the price paid – great location, outstanding service, nice accommodation.

While the hotel is nothing special, the location to the Alhambra is amazing. Just a short walk up the hill, and you are at the gates to the Alhambra. There is a parking garage and a coffee shop at the hotel, and that is about it. A good value for the location.
