Decent Hotel
i stayed at this hotel with my wife and daughter for one week while visiting Vienna in summer. The hotel is not centrally located but has excellent transportation to all destinations. the neighborhood is relatively quiet ,nice and safe at all times. . The room was big and clean but had no air condition, and sleeping with open windows may get noisy from traffic. Breakfast good, reception ok, with some exceptions. Good value for money. |

average hotel
I stayed there with my friend. It was not excellent but good. The location of the hotel was not central but transportation was OK. We liked breakfast. The rooms were well-furnished, bathroom was not big but clean. The computer with internet access in the lobby was surprisingly good. I found it very useful. The staff was helpful. If we come back to Vienna, we may stay again. |

OK but does not have central location
Me and my friend stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. Although the hotel was not centrally located it has easy access to the means of transportation. The room we stayed in was a double room with a private bathroom. The room was clean and had a satisfactory living area. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful. I would recommend this hotel to those who seeks for a cheap and comfortable hotel for a short notice. |

Excellent value for money in all it sense
My wife and I were in Vienna for a week and stayed at Am Augarten for 3 nights. We had picked this hotel based on its price and were not disappointed in overall. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very friendly and cheerful staff that were very consistent throughout the whole our stay. Our room overlooked the street (Heinstrasse), was decently and very comfortably furnished. The housekeeping staff left the room well arranged and changed all the towels daily. We had a leak in the shower pipe; the staff rectified it the same day before we returned in the evening. Upon our request, they lent us an electrical adapter to charge our camera batteries for the length of our stay. Buffet breakfast was excellent - not only in terms of the variety of dishes, but also in the quality.
The hotel is located right next to the No. 21 tram line which takes you to Schwedenplatz in less than 5 minutes - from there you have access to a whole host of trams for the ring and other places as well the underground train system.
Overall, we had a great time at Am Augarten, which is a very nice value for money and moreover, offers a great location, nice rooms and very friendly and cheerful atmosphere. |
