perfect view and polite staff
I stayed there with my boy friend on our trip to Switzerland. We both liked the hotel. I loved the beautiful view of the hotel. It had modern and elegant decoration. The restaurant in the hotel was really good and we also liked breakfast. The hotel had a perfect location it was close to the city centre. The staff was cheerful. We relaxed in the hotel's sauna. We would definetely stay here again. |

very impressed
We stayed at Ambassador Hotel for only two nights but were very impressed. Our room was very modern and clean as was the hotel overall. We also had a great view of the entire city. The restaurant was very nice, food was very good and the service was excellent. It took about 10 minutes to get to the city by tram, and the tram stop was just outside the hotel. We would definitely recommend this hotel, and we would book here again. |

Very good value hotel with compact rooms
Prior to my trip to Berne, I had read terrible reviews on Ambassador Hotel. However I found completely opposite. The hotel has been renovated and pretty comfortable inside. My room was nice, clean and compact and even if you are on holiday, you can manage. Moreover, it was overlooking old town, not only an excellent view but also less traffic noise which assured a nice sleep. The breakfast was also decent and even with the selection for vegetarians.
The location of the hotel was very convenient for me - only a 6-7min tram/bus ride from the city centre/station and the stop is just outside the hotel.
Overall Ambassador Hotel Berne is very good value for money.

Directions
Would like to know the directions for this hotel from Berne Railway Station.
Appreciate if this could be answered at the earliest as we will be checking into this hotel on 14th Aprill 2006 at around 11:00PM |
