We chose this hotel for its great location. It's in the middle of the old city, two blocks from Hagia Sophia and the blue mosque. We walked to the topkapi palace and the grand bazaar. It is in the midst of little shops and sidewalk cafes. It's a wonderful two-hundred year old building comprised of 3 structures. It is not swank and modern but is most comfortable with antique rugs and unique furniture. Rooms seemed to be different sizes and ours was somewhat small but functional. The shower did not leak over the floor and the bathroom had great shelving for toiletries. Buffet breakfast was included and was excellent. The staff were most helpful, from loaning us an umbrella to finding us a good Restaurantto help set up the rest of our Turkey travels. We thought there was a shuttle from the airport but there was not so you should have the hotel address to give the taxi driver! T.

Spa hotel with great
I've just returned from Istanbul, I lived in the Ambassador Hotel in old city Sultanahmet (location swietna). Everywhere near, a few steps to the big Bazaar, Topkapi Palace, Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, Basilica Cisterns and other tourist attractions. On the fifth floor is a restaurant overlooking the Blue Mosque. Beautifully! Non-new after repair very tastefully decorated. Swedish breakfast table, a wide choice. Delightful staff with knowledge of each language, there is no problem. Spa open all day with an excellent masseur. Choice of different massages: aromatherapy, Turkish massage, Swedish massage, therapeutic massage, reflexologia, cellulite massage and facial massage and dekoldu only for women, sports massage, and a partial body. In addition, Turkish bath, sauna and fitness center. Provided a sympathetic masseur Zeki everyone moved out of stress. I recommend everybody. Surely once again to visiting this hotel. Jolanta K. Nice Little Hotel in the Heart of Sultanahmet
I stayed at the Ambassador Hotel for more than a week and was fully satisfied with it! It is located only a couple of metres away from the Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque. The park leading to them is just outside the hotel, so it is a splendid place indeed! The hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. There is wireless internet in the rooms.
What I appreciated most at the hotel was the breakfast. It is an open buffet with a huge selection of warm and cold meals.
And all that is served on the terrace on the roof which has a magnificent view on the Mosques!

Friendly and funny staff make all the difference
A very fine massage from a frist class professional. I would recommend a good Turkish massage at the Ambassador to anyone. Having had a massage from many places around the world I would put this Turkish experience in the top 3! The other services in the hotel have added to our most enjoyable stay in Istanbul. Friendly and funny staff make all the difference.

When we choose this hotel we picked this one because you had Turkish bath and sauna. Now after experiencing the Turkish massage we certainly did the right thing. Wonderful!

Very happy with the hotel
Secound time in Istanbul. First time in the Ambassador Hotel. Very happy with the hotel. The staff very efficient and friendly. The Turkish bath and massage do get a bonus. My first time to experience a Turkish bath and massage. I will most certainly recommend both the Ambassador. The experience in Ambassador made my stay in Istanbul the most unforgettable one.

I was very happy to stay in this hotel
I was very happy to stay in this hotel. The service was very good, all reception staff and hotel staff in general were very friendly and helpful. I took an Aromatherapy massage and it was great. After massage I felt I was reborn. The food was good. I recommend to everyone to stay in this hotel, have dinner here and of course have at least one aromatherapy massage.
