The Ambassador is a great hotel in a terrific location. The guest rooms are huge and well furnished. They, and the bathrooms, are immaculate. What's more, the staff at the front desk is friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. I could not have enjoyed my stay more.

Perfect location walking distance from everywhere.
Clean, spacious room with large bathroom.
Business center with internet access at no charge.
Nice breakfast included, gourmet restaraunt for dinner on site.

I had a fantastic stay at the Ambassador during the first week of May for six days. The room was magnificent! It was large with beautiful hardwood floor and a large bathtub for soaking after a full day of excursion. The room was spotless, warm and welcoming. The breakfast buffet provided a large variety of items. During peak hours, however, there was a wait for tables to be cleaned and set. The hotel staff was friendly. The hotel was located about two blocks from St. Stephen's Cathedral, and within 10 minutes walk from most major sites. The only complaint I had was the noise from the street. People were partying until the wee hours of morning; then the noise from people coming to work early in the morning woke me up after a few hours of sleep. The hotel is within a hundred yards of a metro station and centrally located for everything. I definitely would return for my next visit to Vienna.

I really liked this boutique hotel. I stayed there in September. I was there for business and needed a room with a bigger desk and they switched me immediately. The front desk was great and very helpful. The rooms were really nice, big and nicely decorate. The staff did a great job cleaning. The restaurant was OK. I only had breakfast there and thought was an OK value for the price. The hotel is right around the corner from the Opera house and walking distance from Ring Strasse and museums. I plan on staying there again next time in Vienna.

We stayed at the Ambassador Hotel over the Christmas break 2001/2002 and it was superb. Whilst living in the UK, we travelled extensively throughout Europe and the Ambassador was by far one of the best deluxe hotels we stayed in. The rooms are big and gorgeous and the public areas are tasteful and relaxing. The hotel superbly fuses traditional architecture and furnishings with up-to-the minute touches and facilities. A fantastic location also meaning you can explore most of Vienna on foot.

I have not stayed at the Ambassador but checked out a number of hotels for business associates coming to stay here. I felt that the Ambassador Hotel was one of the best - newly done up, with a degree of individualism and bigger rooms than the Intercontinental. Bar at the hotel is great - with great cocktail menu. Associates that stayed there loved there time there with ideal location if you need to stay centrally but not necessarily the quietest if you want to open the window.

Ambassador Hotel is the only hotel you need to consider. Location and rooms are excellent. The package prices make this hotel a great value, an OK value otherwise. I am an experienced world traveler.

I stay at the Hotel Ambassador every 4-6 months on business. I *love* it! The service is great, the rooms are stylish (plus have wonderful high ceilngs) and the central location is awesome. It has become one of my favorite hotels in Europe.
My best Hotel Ambassador memory: a few years ago I was waking up on a lazy Sunday morning, as a breeze came through my open window and lay in bed listening to the sounds of a violinist on the Kartnerstrasse playing Mozart.
