Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is in a convenient location - right on the River Liffey near O'Connell Street, short walk to Temple Bar and other attractions. Rooms were quite large and clean, bathroom was also large and had granite countertops and a huge bathtub. Our room overlooked the alley, which wasn't the greatest view, and music from the bar downstairs would be louder than we wanted, though only with the windows open. Breakfast was great - huge buffet to choose from as well as table service in a large restaurant. We booked through Hotels and everything was supposed to be included, but when we checked in we had to pay for breakfast and some nominal room charges - not expensive, but also not expected.

Just back from a long weekend at the Arlington Hotel in Dublin. You must pay this hotel a visit as the live Iris music in the bar and the Irish dancers are great. The whole atmosphere is brilliant. There is a nightclub in the basement and the Sunday night with 60's,70's,80's and 90's music is a must if you like a good dance and sing along. Rooms are a good size, and the food is also good, not sure if i would class it a 3 star superior though but the entertainment maybe comes into the classing. Staff are very friendly especially in the breakfast room. I would also recommend a visit to the Thunder Road Cafe in Temple Bar where the food is great and again an excellent atmosphere. A big bonus is the no smoking policy. Downside was expensive drinks we are really being ripped off there, stock up on your duty free before you go, or else take lots of euros with you. Won't stop me going back.

We have stayed at the Arlington in December for the past two years. On both occasions we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The staff were very friendly, the rooms were clean and the hotel itself is in an ideal situation for all the sights and shopping. It can be a bit lively and noisy but there is a lot of entertainment on offer including traditional music and dancing. The bar food at night wasn't too good but we have to recommend the breakfast. This is done in self-service style (even the hot food) so you can help yourself to whatever you like and you don't have to wait for it to be served. Believe it or not this system seems to work remarkably well and the food is always hot when you get it! One recommendation though, they need to make more than one toaster available!!

Fantastic location, in the heart of Dublin and on the banks of the Liffey. Great for families, although they don't offer a baby listening service. The only problem we experienced was with the bar meals in the evening - the waiters often misunderstood our order and the food was cold when it arrived. For the rest of the day, the food is excellent and the staff very friendly and helpful.

Great hotel. Rooms clean and spacious. Staff friendly and helpful. Live music nightly in hotel bar which gets very busy but creates a fantastic atmosphere. Central location on banks of Liffy close to Temple Bar.
Good value for money well worth a visit

We had a lovely time at the Arlington Hotel in the last week of August. After parking our car in the secure underground car park, we were shown to our very nice room by a very friendly and helpful porter. The entertainment all evening was excellent, incuding the Irish dancers and live groups each evening. The place was buzzing.
Fantastic location for all shops, attractions and the Temple Bar district. We would definitely stay here again.
