Fawlty Towers The Second

Hotel waiters ,bar staff and health and fitness staff were very good especially Sam,Muller and Leon. The cleanliness of the hotel was not good especially the rooms.The rooms were supposed to be cleaned daily but in reality they were cleaned every three to four days but not properly.Towels were supposed to be changed every three days but ours were not changed for seven days.Maintenance to the rooms was very poor,anything repaired would need maintenace again the following day.eg loos,taps shower screens.The swimming pool was nice and well maintained.The food was mainly salad items and any food meant to be hot was served cold eg chips.I would not recommend this hotel.In my opinion it has four star prices for two star quality of service eg food.cleaners and maintenance

Four Star Prices For Two star Quality And Service

Our toilet wouldnt flush it was reported and repaired on four consecutive days before it was nearly finally repaired as it broke down on one later occassion.Over the same period we had no hot water coming through to the hand basin.It would be repaired so that we had a trickle of water but within a day it would cease.It took four days to get a normal flow of hot water. The rooms were supposed to be cleaned daily but never were.I would say they were cleaned every three to four days but not properly and they never smelt nice and clean as you would expect in a four star hotel'.Towels were supposed to be changed every three days but we towels that hadnt been changed for six days.This hotel seemed like staying in Fawlty Towers.Nothing was done unless you constantly complaind.

Four Star Prices For Two star Quality And Service

Toilet unuseable five times in the first week. Basin hot water tap blocked only a very slight trickle of hot water .Ater many complaints it was eventually fixed.Towels not changed for seven days.Room was not cleaned daily and bathroom was only cleaned once after complaining to the general manager.Hotel catered for Russians{80%} who smoked profusely after meals in the restaurant including the manager who had breakfast with the General manager most mornings.The Waiters and bar staff were very good also Leon who managed the fitness and massage parlour.The swimming pool was maintained very well.
