nice hotel with some minors
We had a 3 night stay at Atlantic hotel, which was not such a bad experience as mentioned by other reviewers. Upon arrival the place looked a bit rundown and out of the way, but we were greeted by a friendly and cheerful staff that later on happened to be very helpful. When entered the room we were pleasantly surprised to end up in a clean and tidy room adequately sized and with plenty of wardrobe space. In addition, the breakfast offered had nice cold and hot items to choose from.
On the downside, we would agree that the location of Atlantic was in noisy surrounding, with trams running until late, cars racing. However, we stayed optimistic and the condition did not ruin our holiday. At the end, it was just 20 min walk to the center of the city. Overall, Atlantic hotel is a nice place to stay – adequate accommodation and nice service, but considering the location would not be the best choice, yet accounting everything good value for money.

Overall good value for money
Location is in a bit rundown area with many strange people walking around, but is close to the central area of Pest and major city transport terminal. Rooms are large, well decorated but are not maintained - towel hangers in the bathroom were all falling after a just a touch, toilet seat was broken. Breakfast is quite good, personnel is friendly, but not all speak english.

Atlantic Hotel First Visit
I was happy with my stay at this hotel. It wasn't a very busy time and as a single guest I had a clean double room with cable tv and a small fridge.
The breakfast was adequate though not perfect for me i.e the muesli had sugar in but that's being picky.
The location is not completely central. It's a good walk to the centre though a tram stops outside the door. To be fair I had a leg problem so this made it a little worse for me.
The hotel staff were friendly and helpful both at reception and the room staff who were cheerful.
This hotel tries to be eco conscious and doesn't go in for packaged shampoos and so on and also asks guests not to give towels for washing if it's not necessary - for environmental reasons.
I feel this hotel is good value and enjoyed my stay there.
