Austria Trend Pyramid Hotel Vienna April 07
We stopped for 1 night here en route whilst traveling down to Bulgaria recently. On arrival the car park in front of the hotel was almost deserted so no difficulties in selecting a prime spot this was essential due to the value and nature of goods carried in and on our car. On check in the recptionist was execllent, nice and simple no complications. The Hotel and its ammenities are excellent (shame it was 1 night only). The rooms are well appointed and very comfortable, despite the Hotel being used for many business meetings noise at night was non existent so an excellent nights sleeps was no problem. The evening meal that we had in the Restaurant was first class as was the service from all involved. The following morning the Buffet Breakfast was fantastic, I promise you you can set yourself up for 13 hours of driving here (as we did) without difficulty, the choice, quality and quantity was simply amazing. You really will find this Breakfast impossible to beat. Just a shame that the Hotel itself is located on what can best be described as an Industrial/Business Park location. This was the only negative and all of the other aspects more than made up for the location. All in all a very pleasant stay in a first class Hotel with excellent staff. Thank you very much to all for making our stop over most enjoyable. Stay here you will think it is incredible value for money.
