Excellent quality for the price
My husband and I stayed at Austria Trend Favorita Hotel for a week. The hotel is not located in the city center but it is only 2 blocks from Keplerplatz metro station on U1 line. The city center is then only 3 metro stops away. The metro in Vienna runs very frequently, user-friendly and extremely reliable, so getting to and from the city center (even at late hours) was no problem.
While our check-in, a group of high school students arrived at the same time we did and the staff made sure that our room was in a quiet part of the building away from the group.
The room was average in size with a mini bar and TV (many German and Austrian channels). The bathroom was good-sized as well, clean and a hair dryer was provided. Towels and sheets were crisp. We had a room facing the inner courtyard, so we had a very nice sleep.
The buffet breakfast was excellent – very consistent. The staff at the front desk and breakfast room were extremely friendly and helpful. They also let us leave our bags at the hotel for a couple of hours after check-out.
As mentioned by many other views, there is for real no restaurant within the hotel facilities, but that is not a problem. If you are on a leisure travel you will discover so many nice places to eat. The choice in central Vienna is plenty.
Overall, I would recommend Austria Trend Favorita Hotel for its location, service and price. I would definitely stay here again.

Good value for money
My friend and I have stayed at the Favorita Hotel. We were looking for a cheap accommodation that would be conveniently situated to easily allow us to explore the city. And we were not disappointed with our choice. The hotel is not in the city center but the Strassenbahn stop is just a stone throw away. Across the street, you'll find a big shopping center at the end of a big plaza where affordable and nice restaurants.
Our room on the 6th floor was big and clean with lots of storage space. It does not offer any luxury but everything works properly. The only downside was that the hotel did not offer a room service. Overall, Austria Trend Favorita Hotel was a very good value for money and exactly what we were looking for.

Good and Clean
Very Clean Hotel. Price is good for this 3-star hotel. Very good breakfast (hot eggs, susages...variety of cold hams, cheese, fruits, bread...) No air-conditioning, don't know how hot it would be in summer. We went on Aug3-6,2007, the weather was cool enough for us open half window and got a good sleep. Location is a bit quiet but safe. Only 5-minutes from south train station door to door. Walk arcoss street about 5-minutes to the tram station, it takes around 7-10 minutes to tourist city center. Tram runs very often, very convience. Although the area is quiet after 6pm (all the business shops closed, but 2 Japanese / Chinese resturtans close at 11pm)I would recommend this hotel (like Comfort Inn or Hampton Inn in US) if you want to pay less but a clean hotel. We travel a lot (France, Roma, Florence, Venice, Prag... with two teenager girls, we usually choose a hotel 10-15 minutes transportation time from toursit areas because we can pay less but have a clean and good hotel. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Good hotel with underground station nearby
I stayed at the Austria Trend Hotel Favorita for 3 nights. We chose it due to the good offer from otel.com, the included breakfast and the location close to an underground station (Keplerplatz).
I can highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are quiet big and nicely furnished. TV, minibar, safe and hairdryer are installed in every room.
The breakfast buffet was big and had a big choice of everything you could possibly imagine.
For 10 Euro / day you can rent a parking lot in the hotels own garage or you can park for free in one of smaller side streets.
I will definitely stay there again if i go to Vienna again

A nice 4-star hotel with great breakfast buffet
My wife and me stayed at the Austria Trend Favorita Hotel Vienna for 3 nights. I can really recommend this hotel - especially for the otel.com price (we paid 72 Euro / night instead of 180 Euro / night). The staff was friendly and the breakfast had something for everyone. Some of the TV channels didn`t work on our TV, but after complaining we got another TV on the next day.
The only things I missed were toothbrush, comb, cotton buds, cotton balls and slippers. I expected those things to be provided.
All in all a great choice and I would stay there again if I get the chance.

Decent
Overall - decent hotel. Good location (quiet, safe, not very central, but only 3-4 min away from the underground which takes you right to Stephansplatz in 8 minutes). The furniture is kind of old and dented, that's the only minus. Very, very good breakfast! (included in the price)

We had a wonderful holiday break in Austria & The Austria Trend Favorita staff were very friendly, helpful, and we found a very good hotel. Location was also quiet good, city center was a 10 minutes walk, Metro was 2 minutes walk.
