conveniently located
My friend and I stay there on our journey to Barcelona. We liked the central location of the hotel. It was only minutes to the city centre and very close to the metro station. The hotel was simple but cosy. Rooms were clean. Staff was cheerful and helpful. Breakfast buffet was good. I can recommend you for a short stay |

ideal for budget travellers
My friends and I stayed Auto Hogar Hotel during our interrail trip. It has a good location within minutes walk to the city center and fromthe harbour. The rooms are not very tastefully decorated offering many facilities but The hotel is clean, the breakfast buffet is OK. It is ideal for budget travellers. |

Excellent Location
Excellent location, next to metro station and 10 mins walk to port area and Ramblas. Breakfast all you can eat, quite a good selection but does get busy! Rooms basic but good value for money, choose a room at the back to avoid road noise. Other guests were noisy coming and going, slamming doors and shouting, but you get that even in better class hotels! Staff multi lingual and helpful if you needed anything. Would definitely recommend if you want cheap and basic. |

Well worth the money!
We stayed here for four days in May 2007, and we enjoyed it immensely. Unfortunately the room was very noisy - but we had read the user comments beforehand and were well equipped with earplugs (a MUST!). Otherwise: huge room, big bathroom, everything was clean, the breakfast was ample, but a little boring, the line before the coffee-machine was quite annoying - and the service in the breakfast room was lousy. Yet and still - the location of the hotel is simply great, you can walk almost anywhere and the subway is right in front of the hotel. And the price is unbeatable!
We will choose the same hotel on our next trip to Barcelona! Absolutely! |

good value
The hotel was good value for money and excellent base for exploring the city. Conveniently situated near metro station,and within easy reach of main tourist attractions. The staff in reception were very friendly and there was someone on duty 24/7. However, the room was kind of small and due to traffic outside, it's pretty noise. But other than that, I was very much convenient for us.

Acceptable
The location was acceptable for my purposes. Quite close to the city centre, and very close to an underground train station. Staff were helpful, rooms were clean.

Excellent Value
This hotel was excellent value for a very centrally located hotel. We were apprehensive due to the price, and comments which we had read about noise etc. We were at the back of the hotel. The room was very clean and airy, although only a view of th backs of neighbouring buildings. The reception staff were polite and efficient. The busy breakfast buffet was well organised. Would definately use the hotel again. |

A good value basic hotel. 15 min walk to Port and Las Ramblas. Close to Metro and easy to find from Barcelona airport. Hotel satff very polite and helpful |

I would recommend
The hotel is particulary good for first time travelers. Its main plus is the location and is within walking distance of the La Rambla. The Breakfast was adequate but combined with the price for then hotel it is difficult to complain. The Staff were extremeley helpfull and Polite and the rooms were basic but clean. Overall I would recommend the hotel for a short stay at the right price. |

Location could not be better
Hotel stuck in 70/s time loop. clean linen/towels every day,very well run, location could not be better. |
