Good overall value
We just returned from a very enjoyable 4 night stay at Avenue hotel. The overall appearance of the hotel is quite nice located in a nice area, quite close to the tourist attractions but at the same time sort of far from the city bustle. The hotel is a 10 to 15 minute walk from the city centre - quicker still by Metro or by bus. The reception staff was friendly and helpful throughout our entire stay. We had a standard room on the first floor overlooking the main street. First impressions of the bedroom was that it was a bit small, but there was room enough and far more importantly it was clean. The windows facing onto the street were double glazed and offered good soundproofing so that road noise was not noticeable. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and consisted of cold spread.Overall, we received a good value for a good location. We would definitely recommend Avenue hotel for its nice location and comfortable accommodation at a reasonable price.
