Convenient budget hotel

Who says you need a lot of money to travel? I actually travel a lot and chose to stay in low budget hotels than expensive ones because I prefer experiencing the real life in the city I go to and not superficial vacations. My last trip was to Zurich and was really happy I chose Bahnoff Glattbrugg Hotel because this hotel has really low rates and very convenient too. It is just 5km away from the airport and the train and bus are within easy reach. It is actually a crossover between a traditional Inn and a pub making it the perfect place to meet some locals since it is just not a hotel. The people from the hotel were very friendly and they even gave me directions and tips to have a hassle-free sightseeing. I was able to see the Grossmunster Church, St Peter's Church and the Linderhof Palace without losing my way. The room was small, but comfortable having basic amenities like TV, internet and towels. The food served at the resto was good especially the pizza! Of course that is best matched with authentic German beer. There is also a Chinese resto and grocery nearby for those who opt for other food and shopping.
