* Saffron:
The signature restaurant of Banyan Tree Phuket is set in a Thai-style décor, with dark timbers and highlights in reds and greens. The menu selection of Thai cuisine is prepared using traditional methods. Dishes include crisp fried catfish and mango salad; stir-fried black crab with pepper and chili; and sticky rice with yellow curry ice cream. Serving dinner only till late, the dress code is smart casual.
* Watercourt:
Overlooking a formal water pond, and offering views of the lagoon, the restaurant serves American and Asian buffet breakfast, while evening dining focuses on Mediterranean cuisine. Menu items include citrus salad with warm garlic prawns; charred aubergine cappuccino with truffle oil; and grilled prime rib of beef. Open from early morning for breakfast and for dinner till late, the restaurant requires smart casual dress.
* The 132 villas of Banyan Tree Phuket are set amongst gardens and water ponds of Laguna Phuket. Reception and the lobby are situated in the central hotel building, where guest services such as concierge, currency exchange and the business center can be found. There is a full-service spa which also provides classes in yoga and tai chi.
* Other recreational facilities include a swimming pool and tennis courts. Laguna Phuket Golf Club adjoins the hotel.

The Spa Pool villas have in-villa spa services with massage, sauna, and steam room. DVD and CD sound systems are provided in some guest villas, and wireless Internet access is complimentary to all. |
