The Bayswater Inn Hotel offers a basic no frills base from which to explore London. The hotel is in need of a little re-vamp and is best suited for short stays.
For location, the hotel is super, only a 5 minute walk to Bayswater underground station and approx 10 minutes walk to Queensway underground station.
Queensway is a bustling cosmopolitan street and has many excellent ethnic restaurants, especially particularly Chinese, Arab and Mediterranean.
* Works are continuing on the ground floor of the hotel until April 2012.
LOCATION
Both Bayswater and Queensway underground stations are within easy walking distance of the Bayswater Inn Hotel.
On Queensway you will find the popular Whiteleys Shopping Centre.

Ideally located
This hotel is ideal for those who search for a place to stay at Central London. I stayed at this hotel with my girlfriend and we had great time there. The hotel is ideally located very close to Queensway which makes it easier for us to explore the city.
The breakfast was OK, the rooms were clean and quite comfortable. I would definetely stay at this hotel when i visit London again.

Adequate enough
We got a big room with spacious bathroom - unusual for London hotels. Nice breakfast room. Quiet area only a short walk from Bayswater tube station.

Excellent value for money
Excellent value for money. Very recommendable for the tourist traveller. The quality of the bed was not tip top, but this little minus is easily absorbed by general impression. Very welcomming staff, also made the kid feel specially welcomed.

Pleased with two star hotel
This is a two star hotel with a good location. The price offered was very low, thus giving good value for money. However this is a low budget hotel and the quality and comfort reflects this. Thus, we were very pleased with room, food and service.

A positive surpirse
The room was placed one level below ground level, so we had no view outside. But that did not matter much as the room was clean, quite and spacious enough for the four of us. They quickly repaired the toilet door that did not close. The hotel was a positive surprise after having read reviews about hotels in London!

Couldn't be better
We stayed here in July for 3 nights. We were given a complimentary upgrade to an executive studio and our room was very spacious and clean on 3rd floor overlooking the park. Comfortable beds, wonderful bathroom, great little efficiency kitchen with all the basics. Staff was helpful and friendly I'd defintely return here.

The location could not be better. Residential area with great local Pubs and ethnic restaurants and markets. Nice shopping mall and tube stations only blocks away. Room on ground floor was a nice size with 2 twin beds - 2 windows although they could not be opened. Nice large bathroom with wonderful heated towel bar and deep bathtub (great for soaking tired feet). Very clean. Breakfast was very basic - but optionals are not very expensive. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Excellent value for the money.

If you just want a clean, well-located place to sleep and don't plan to do much in your room but snooze and shower, the Bayswater Inn will work fine for you.
It's an older hotel in a set of connected buildings. The lobby is nice with an old English look and polished wood everywhere.
The rooms are quite small and bare-bones. (Think dorm room with a desk and its own small bathroom). On my visit, the shower was very tempermental, alternating between scalding hot and freezing cold (It was almost impossible to get it to warm).
Pass on the free continental breakfast in the lobby restaurant. It consists of some hard rolls and alleged orange juice.
The Bayswater Inn is well-located just a few steps from Queensway, a lively, electic street lined with Middle Eastern, Ethiopian, Chinese, Indian, fastfood and Fish and chips restaurants. It's also got lots of funky stores and a carnival atmosphere well into the night.
The hotel is close to the Bayswater and Queensway underground stations, with quick access to the West End and everything else that makes London such a great city. (TIP: Don't use the Bayswater station 'cause its on the District and Circle lines, which are ridiculously slow. Queensway is on the speedy and frequent Central line)
