BY CAR
Coming from Rome
* Exit the highway and follow the directions to the city center and the railway station Santa Maria Novella.
* From Piazza della Libertà follow the signs to Piazza delle Cure.
* Take Viale dei Mille and at the first traffic light turn left into Via Frà Jacopo Passavanti. Continuing into Via Brunetto Latini.
* At the end of Via Brunetto Latini, turn left in Via Fra' Guittone, take the first right into Via Maffei.
* The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" is found at the first intersection on your left (the corner between Via Maffei and Via Guido Guinizzelli) on Via Guido Guinizzelli #1.
Coming from Milano
* Take the autostrada Firenze Nord exit
* Follow in the direction of Fortezza da Basso
* Go on towards the indications for Stadio - Piazza Libertá - Viale Don Minzoni - Piazza delle Cure - Viale dei Mille
* Once in Viale dei Mille turn left at the first traffic light into Via Fra' Jacopo Passavanti and continue along into Via Brunetto Latini.
* At the end of Via Brunetto Latini, turn left in Via Fra' Guittone, take the first right into Via Maffei.
* The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" is found at the first intersection on your left (the corner between Via Maffei and Via Guido Guinizzelli) on Via Guido Guinizzelli #1.
From Florence Airport
* There is a shuttle bus called "Volainbus" which leaves every 30 minutes taking you to Santa Maria Novella Railway station. Travel time is approximately 20 minutes.
From Santa Maria Novella railway station
* On the west exit of the station on Via Alamanni you can catch bus nr. 1B (direction "Le Cure") and get off at "Maffei 3" stop.
* Cross the street and you'll see La Mongolfiera Bed and Breakfast on your left. |

Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" in Florence serves their guests a continental breakfast in its spacious and elegant dining room during the colder months and in the garden during the summer. Products without gluten are available on request.
PARKING
Paid private parkig for the price of 8 euro per day.
Paid public parking is available between 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the parking spots marked by blue lines. The ticket can be purchased at the nearby automatic machine.
After 8:00 pm parking is free until 8:00 am the next morning in the same spot, as well as on Sundays and Holidays.
Day passes for tourists, for the price of 8 euro; "gratta e sosta", are available through the B&B "La Mongolfiera". The pass is valid for 24 hours in all of Florence in parking spaces designated with blue lines.
BICYCLES
The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" has its own bicycles available for their guests for touring the city (price euro 5 per day).
TOURS
It's possible to book private tours or groups' tours.
Private tours are organized by B&B La Mongolfiera's staff. We'll be pleased to drive you in the heart of classical Chianti, in the medieval cities of Siena, Volterra and San Gimignano or in the historical cities of Arezzo, Pistoia, Pisa and Lucca.
Information of tours can be requested and reservations can be made with at least one weeks' advance notice. These private tours are only on Saturday and Sunday. Price is euro 300,00 and included a drive tour from 9.00 a.m. to 18.00 p.m.; number maximum of persons: 4.
Group's tours
The programme of the group's tour is the following:
8.30 a.m. start point in Piazza S. M. Novella; Morning in Siena; Light lunch at a farmhouse; Visit of San Gimignano; Chianti drive; Pisa; 8.30 p.m. back in Florence.
Price is euro 80,00 per person (free for children up to 12).
Group's tours are only on Monday, Thursday and Saturday.
It's necessary to book some days before your arrival.
RESERVATIONS IN MUSEUMS
The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" can reserve admission tickets to Florence museums. We recommend advanced reservations to visit the Uffizi Gallery and the Galleria dell'Accademia. The cost of the reservation is euro 3,00.
GUIDED TOURS
The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" can reserve guided tours, with advanced notice, for both country or city excursions in Florence. Organized tours and sight-seeing for the family with children are also available!!!
TRANSPORTATION
The Bed & Breakfast "La Mongolfiera" in Florence can reserve transportation with a car service. Reservations must be made in advance.

2. Cancellations made within the cancellation deadline will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
3. No-shows will be assessed a 1 night room rate unless cancellation policy is defined different.
4. No cancellations on or after check-in date.
