ideal location hotel
The Arosa is a well situated near to the shops and restaurants and within walking distance (15-30 minutes) of some of the main atractions. The hotel is on the Gran Via and close to the metro. The rooms are adequate and a reasonable size. The staff are pleasant and helpfull. The breakfast is quite good and plentiful. The only thing to be aware of is the hotel surroundings. |

Ideal position for sightseeing
The Arosa is an ideal hotel for sight seeing it is situated near a metro station and is in easy walking distance to some of the sights. The hotel was clean with pleasant staff. The breakfast is quite substantial with cold and hot buffet. Bedrooms are adequate and pleasant although one of the rooms was decorated in very outdated wallpaper, I asume that it has not been upgraded. The only downside to the Hotel is the noise outside the hotel which can go on into the early hours. Over all I would recommend this hotel as being good value for money and ideal for sightseeing Madrid. |

Very good!
Recently i had to go to Madrid for a seminar and i was searching for a place to stay and until a friend of mine recommended this hotel to me. I booked the hotel through otel.com and i had no problems before or during my stay. I really liked the hotel. It has a very good location in the heart of the tourist, business, historical center of Madrid. The hotel sevices were good and my room was comfortable and tastefully decorated. Room service and wireless Internet connection were a plus of course. The hotel didn't have a restaurant but there were many restaurants around the hotel so that did not cause any problem for me. This is a nice hotel and i would really recommend it. |

Great location, nice experience
We have stayed at Best Western Arosa Hotel for a short city break. We have chosen Arosa due to its excellent city center location - within the close proximity to historical, entertainment and tourist spots.
The hotel staff was extremely friendly and spoke excellent English and were very helpful.
Our room was clean, comfortable and adequately bigger than the standard European hotels. Plus, AC was working good.
The only downside of Arosa hotel was that our room was allocated very close to elevator that created a lot of noise. Unfortunately,
we did not get a chance ti change our room due to the full occupancy. Other than, overall we had a nice experience at Arosa Hotel. |

International Standard Comfort and the most convenient location
I'm a business traveler, visiting Europe 5 times a year or more. Wherever I travel I tend to Best Western Hotels, and in Madrid in particular, I have chosen to stay at Best Western Arosa Hotel for various reasons. First of all, its location - the hotel is situated in the most central zone of Madrid, right close to Gran Via avenue, the principal shopping, historic and tourist area of the city with the maximum facilities for parking and access. Secondly, this time in particular, I was allocated to a room that had been refurbished in Japanese style that was very clean, well equipped with a firm comfortable bed and well equipped bathroom being colored in black, cream and chrome patterns. Moreover, the AC was working very efficiently, compare to normal european hotels. The professionalism and courteousity of the hotel staff always added a value to an entire experience.
I found Best Western Arosa hotel to be very consistent to its entire chain standards that left another positive mark on my overall best western experience. I would strongly recommend Best Western Arosa Hotel for an international standard comfort and the most convenient location in Madrid. |

Great Hotel in a Great City
Excellent hotel, really central for everything. The City is so big this really is a great base. Bus stop just outside for both public transport and the City tour bus. Metro also extremely close. Busy location with non stop city noise which really isn't a problem, in fact it just adds to the city break buzz. The hotel itself is lovely. Immaculately clean, friendly staff, everything you could want. Breakfast more than enough; bacon, eggs, cold meat cheese, assorted bread, cereal, fruit, croissants, juice, tea and coffee. Would definitely stay here again. |

Spent a long weekend in the lovely city of Madrid but the hotel did not live up to expectations. For traditional read outdated and for quaint read impossible. The weekend we were there only the "quaint" lift was in operation and this really caused problems. However they did provide a good breakfast. The hotel was near the metro and you could walk to the shopping areas. |
