Best Western Hotel Du Lac Interlaken is situated in a picturesque location on the River Aare. The medium sized rooms vary considerably in style. Some rooms are very traditional and others are quite modern. The rooms are all in good condition as are the bathrooms.
The hotel's restaurants serve a variety of cuisine; one is a cosy snack restaurant and the other is a la carte. The a la carte restaurant offers spectacular views of the river and specialises in fish from the lake Brienz. During the summer, the hotel also opens its terrace restaurant.
The exterior of the building is traditional with chalet style architecture. The small lobby has kept its traditional Swiss style despite having been renovated over the years. Different types of wood have been used in the decor and the area has a cosy homely feel to it. This first class property offers a high standard of service.
LOCATION
Best Western Hotel Du Lac Interlaken overlooks the River Aare. It is just a short stroll from Interlaken East railway station and close to the main streets of Interlaken. There is a boat service leaving next to the hotel crossing the Thunner Lake.
