The hotel room was basic but clean. Ours backed onto a small courtyard which made the room quite dark at times. The buffer breakfast consisted of a broad choice of fruit, fried food and cereals. The evening restaurant menu, although limited, provided good quality food, and the service was excellent. The major plus for this hotel is its location. It is twenty metres from Grand Via, one hundred and fifty to the plaza espana and roughly eight minutes walk from Plaza Mayor.

Just got back from a lovely weekend in Madrid, the Mayorazgo Hotel is a lovely hotel in a very good location just off the Gran Via, i wouldnt say the rooms were 4 star, we asked to see another room which was equally as shabby, but this was the only dissapointment about the whole weekend.
