NOT WHAT WE EXPECTED
We booked the hotel mostly because of it proximity to the town and to where our friends live. it was our first trip to Norway as a young couple and we specifically asked for a double room, and paid early in advance to secure that. However, we were given a twin room and not even informed about it on the check in, so i had to come down to the reception and ask for a room change. After the receptionist went though the system for some minutes, he sadly informed me that they were fully booked and only twin rooms and their superior rooms were available. we were already tired and wanted to rest so i decided not to make any issue about it as we we promised a room change the next day.
In the morning after breakfast were asked for a room change to a double room which we were provided but to our surprise, the room was another twin room smaller than what we had the previous night!!!. Anyway we decided to keep it because we only needed the room to sleep as we would spent most of our time out with our friends.
The rooms were clean but very small in all aspects. bathroom was clean as well but again very squeezed.
the first room we were given #410 had A/C making noise all night even when off, but again as tired as we were we ignored it. lastly, we had no hot water in the last day we had to take shower at our friends house.
The hotel is well located but do not expect a lot of high quality services starting from the friendliness of the staff. In other words, i would say if you don't find another hotel then you can book this one but i would not recommend to my friends.

Not the Best!
This hotel was being refurbished during our visit and the lift area in particular was untidy.
The room was clean and pleasant but small. The en-suite was unacceptably tiny! I really missed having no tea/coffee making facilities in the room.
On a more positive note the food was good and evening meals were good value for money. Both Reception and Dining Room staff were very pleasant, helpful and efficient.
