The 3* Britannia Hotel Manchester City Centre offers great value accommodation in a fantastic Manchester city centre location. The hotel is located in one of Manchester's premier architectural buildings and is Grade II listed with outstanding details such as a balconied stairway throughout the building.
All 363 bedrooms are comfortable and tastefully furnished with modern facilities including TV, Hairdryer, Telephone, and Tea & Coffee making facilities.
The Britannia Hotel Manchester City Centre boasts the WAVE bar and bar-rogue, two of Manchester's most popular meeting places. The bars offer food all day long at affordable prices with great music and the best DJ's. Add to this Jenny's Carvery and the Pizzeria restaurant and you are truly spoilt for choice.
LOCATION
From National Express Coach Station:
Leave the Coach Station onto Chorlton Street.
Turn Left and walk up Chorlton street (with the NCP Car Park on the left).
At the top of Chorlton Street is Portland Street, turn Right.
The Britannia Hotel Manchester occupies the entire block and the entrance is on the right hand side.
From Piccadilly Train Station:
Exit Train Station on to London Road.
Turn right, and walk straight up London Road where you reach a cross roads.
Go across the Cross Roads and head straight up Piccadilly to Piccadilly Gardens.
At Piccadilly Gardens follow the road round to the left on to Portland Street.
Head down Portland Street for approx 300m where you find the Britannia Manchester on the left hand side.
By Motorway
From the South
Exit M6 at junction 19 (Knutsford). At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit A556 (Manchester). Go past Mere Platt Farm. Turn right at first roundabout (M56). Follow signs for Manchester. Go under Hulme Archway to roundabout. Take 2nd left into Medlock Street. Turn right at 2nd traffic lights at G-Mex. Go through traffic lights at McDonalds, into Portland Street. The Britannia Manchester Hotel is on the right, just after Yates Wine Lodge.
From the East
Exit M62 at junction 18 and turn left for Manchester. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit for M60. Follow the M60 for 1 mile until it ends. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit A570 Manchester. After 2 miles, turn left at the Halfway House Pub. After 2 miles, bear left, follow Piccadilly.
From the West
Exit M62 at junction 12. Follow M602. Get in A57 lane for Manchester. Follow until Harry Ramsden's is on the right. At traffic lights, turn left into Water Street. Turn right into Quay Street. Carry over tramlines and pass the Odeon Cinema on the left. Turn left at the next traffic lights on to Portland Street. The Britannia Manchester Hotel is on the right, just after Yates.
From the North
Exit M61 at Junction 12 o M62. Follow M602. Get in lane for A57 Manchester. Follow until Harry Ramsdens is on the right. At the traffic lights, turn left into Water Street.
