Well served my purpose
Brunel Hotel did well serve my purpose while I stayed there earlier in September for 3 nights. Overall, the hotel seemed to be clean, simple and well organized. As other reviews might of noticed, the hotel rooms are very tiny, but clean and functional and the noise is inevitable since the hotel is located on the busy street. The breakfast was acceptable and the staff were friendly enough.
When choosing the hotel I was mainly concerned on the location, and Brunele hotel was pretty much convenient - Paddington Station is just about 7 min walk away, Also there are several restaurants, pubs, fast food places and supermarkets nearby. So basically, Brunel Hotel well did serve my purpose in terms of location.

A little old hotel
Very small rooms, but a nice breakfast included with the room. While we were there the lift only worked one day and the rooms are a climb up steep stairs. Also - wake up calls are not always remembered.

We just returned from a ten day visit to London and stayed at the Brunel Hotel. It was wonderful. The staff was excellent, very helpful and welcoming. The room ( a triple with three single beds) was perfect. The hotel is centrally located and we found the neighborhood to be very nice. I really recommend it to London travelers.

As a low cost hotel well situated in London, the Brunel has a lot going for it. The location is a couple of hundred metres from Paddington Station - ideal for the Heathrow Express airport link.
The room was very small, but adequately equipped. Staff were friendly and breakfast in the basement cafe was excellent.
Unlike some other low-cost properties this one does have a lift, albeit a tiny one.
I'd happily stay there again if in London on a bidget.

Best fair priced accommodation I?ve ever had in London! Nice rooms.
Fresh towels and cleaning up every day. Friendly service. Avoid rooms in the basement - tube might be heard. Fair rates and good service wanted? This is the place to go!
