Satisfied with quality of service
The single room I had was very comfortable. The hotel has a good security system. Only guests with swipe cards can access the upper floors where the rooms are. The restaurant had a small but delicious menu. Breakfast spread was good. Will stay here again if I'm ever in Brussels. Service personnel were always friendly and helpful.

This hotel is fabulous. Beautiful rooms. Great fitness center. Perfect location. Responsive staff. Far better than the Royal Windsor on Grand Place! Can't wait to go again--and I got it cheaply on gtahotels!!

The Marriott Brussels is an old hotel they completely renovated and the bathrooms and furnishings are very nice. The rooms are small. It is located opposite the Bourse where a large amount of homeless like to camp. So, area is filthy and some buildings very run down and taken over by pigeons. Did not feel safe there. Breakfast is very inadequate.
We were in executive club level for a free continental breakfast. Not much choice to eat and if there were bananas they were rotten. Tried the breakfast buffet in their restaurant and found it very poor. Will make eggs to order but just try to get the chef's attention. Advertise free glass of champage but it was not chilled and not opened. Cost is 16 euros which is terrible for what you get. Staff was friendly and accomodating but did not offer to help with our luggage. For dinner, restaurant had a very limited menu. Had to eat elsewhere which is no problem in Brussels.

Stayed for the third time in this pretty new hotel. Location is great, despite some dubious people hanging around in the area: undergroud tramway from and to Gare du Nord (North Station) and Gare du Midi (South Station) right outside the hotel with railway connections to and from Brussels Airport. Historic old town with its numerous restaurants is right across the street (if you are a fool and prefer fast food instead of the fine Belgian cuisine: a McDonald's offers its delicacies in the same building). Unfortunately, my internet reservation could not be found at check-in, which made me wait for the room for two hours (OK - I arrived very early around 9 a. m., but the room would have been set up, if the internet reservation would have been there, as I was told at front desk). I asked twice for a non-smoking executive room without connecting door and was given a smoking handicapped executive room ***with*** connecting door. Fortunately, the connecting door was not as paper-thin as the ones in the usual American hotel. Room interior was the usual Marriott style, which is the same around the world, which you may find boring. For me it says "No (bad) surprises here". Executive Lounge is basically closed from Friday to Sunday and offers only drinks. You will receive coupons for the much more extensive breakfast buffet in the main restaurant, which would be great if the staff would manage to cater guests properly. Unfortunately, they reach their limits when the restaurant is only half full. Despite these minor faults, I definately recommend the Brussels Marriott due to its great location and good standard (apart from restaurant and front desk).

I've stayed at quite a few hotels in Europe in the last few years. All hotels and roads in European cities are not as large as North America. This is a fact, not a fault. The rooms were tastefully decorated, and the bed was the most confortable I have slept in 5 years. The very high ceilings and large TV all helped.
What made this hotel fantastic was the location. Its walking distance from anything you could want to do or see in Brussels. It can be a bit dodgy, but that is to be expected downtown in any major city. There has to be 50 restaurants within a 5 minute walk. (the seafood is exceptional in Brussels by the way)

Spent, unfortunately, only one evening here.
Outstanding location, two blocks from the Grand Plac. In excess of 50 restaurants off Grand Plac, of every size and description. Concierge most helpful; rooms large and airy. Got an excellent rate on the web, including a fine buffet breakfast.
Spent the next night at the Hyatt Regency in a residential district. Thought the Hyatt would be equal to the Marriott; the Hyatt shouldn't even be mentioned in the same sentence. Our Hyatt experience was DISMAL.

The Brussels Marriott is a super place to stay. I was there for two nights earlier this month and would definitely go back. The hotel is centrally located near many of the attractions that you'd want to see (Grand Place, Mannekin Pis). The rooms are spacious and very nicely decorated. The bed was unbelievably comfortable. All of the staff that I met were incredibly helpful and friendly. In short, it was a great hotel experience. I highly recommend!

Great location, only a few minutes walk to Grand Place and at the edge of Chinatown. The rooms were of a decent size, very comfortable, clean with the typical Marriott red and green design. Friendly service, although not perfect. Don't expect them to get it right the first time, but when things do go wrong, they more than make up for it! In all fairness, this is probably due to the fact that the hotel is quite new.
Buffet breakfast was good, came with champagne and waffles too!

We stayed here for a weekend and it was brilliant. Rooms were large and well presented. Breakfasts were superb. Staff were extremely helpful and courteous. Location very good. We would definitely recommend this hotel and will return again.

This is a great hotel to stay in if you are visiting on business or pleasure. Keep in mind that everything is very expensive in the hotel, so i recommend buying breakfast or dinner at any of the numerous shops and cafes along the Grand Place, which is right across the street. The hotel is built next to a mcdonalds, so try to avoid that!! Nice exercise room and sauna, but no pool! Staff was extremely friendly and made me feel comfortable in my first time out of the United States.
Taxi fare to hotel from airport is about 33 euros.
