Cleanliness and comfort leave a lot to be desired

We stayed overnight in this hotel and overall were very disappointed. Our first impression was not good as the receptionist took chewing gum out while checking us in! We had dropped our bags off early and were very disappointed to learn that they had not been taken to our room in time for us getting back - several hours after official check in. A very uncomfortable bed complete with a dirty en suite bathroom left us feeling very disenchanted with the whole experience. On checking out, no effort was made to ask about our satisfaction and we were further disenchanted to find the reception desk filthy with fingerprints showlng in the sun.

Accommodation

Stay at this hotel was disappointing. Entrance & dinning room lovely, not so rooms! After refusing to accept first room, due to ill fitting windows (leaving gap at bottom), second room on offer had same problem. We were then offered choice of further two rooms, one of which was acceptable. Did say rooms were due upgrade, however, apart from being tired, state of windows very much let rooms down. Won't be hurrying back.
