Our room was at the back of the hotel and was very quite, the addition of carpets in the room and halls greatly helped this. Dispite the weather being very hot over 40 degrees the air con in the room made for a very pleasant stay. Breakfast could not be faulted with something for everybody, excellent quality with polite and prompt service. The Airport bus drops you off on the hotel's doorstep and only costs 3 Euros. We will definitely use again.

Review Carmen Hotel, Granada
Oldish hotel that is well located in Tourist area/CBD. Convenient for visit to Alhambra and social activities in the evening. Good breakfast.

This hotel is located in a very convenient location, opposite teh El Corte Inglais, Spanish major department store. The staff is o.k. Buffet breakfast is very good. The room is spacious and clean.
We are happy with this hotel and would recommend it to friends.

My Partner and I stayed at the Hotel Carmen in July 2003.
The service and cleanliness of the hotel was of a very high standard.
The hotel is centrally located and accessible to all amenties/ bars / resturants / shops etc. (which is great).
The hotel has a roof top pool and bar which is fab for cooling down in the scorchio midday sun.
Overall, a fantastic place to visit and great hotel. Just one thing......the room had twin beds (not good!)

A large impersonal hotel, quite splendid and grand in the communal areas, room functional but lacked character. There was a lovely terrace bar and swimming pool on roof of hotel. It is very central and a good location for walking around the city.
