Great value for money
I have stayed at Casa Sant' Andrea Hotel at two different occasions. Both times I had a wonderful stay. Casa Sant'Andrea was a great value for money.
The hotel itself is about a two minute walk from where the number 5 bus stops at the Piazalle Roma. It sits just on the outside of the main tourist area - close enough for all the action and quiet enough to get a good night sleep.
The hotel is basic but very clean, my rooms both times, single and twin were so spacious, surprisingly for Venice, still basic with adequate décor and spacious en-suite bathroom. The staff was tremendously friendly and genuinely helpful.
Overall, Casa Sant' Andrea Hotel is very good option for a break in Venice, especially if you value peace and quiet as much as tourist hustle and bustle. |

Excellent value for Venice
Couple of my friends and I have stayed at Hotel Casa Sant Andrea for 2 nights it served its purpose tremendously. The hotel is situated right on the canal less than 2 minutes from the Piazza Roma, the Bus terminal and about 10minutes from the Santa Lucia train station but a bit far from the tourist areas.
Being a 16th century partially renovated monastery, the internal layout is a bit weird but interior was fine. My room was big and the bathroom was almost as big but there was no real decoration and no TV. The staff was very helpful, internet access was available and was pretty fast at a reasonable price, and breakfast was basic.
In an expensive city like Venice, I thought Hotel Casa St. Andrea was an excellent value.
