Stayed in this hotel in January. The rooms were lovely and modern, but HOT! I asked to change rooms, which we did, but again it was still very warm, and the airconditioning didn't work very well in either rooms. I couldn't imagine staying here in summer. In saying this, the location was excellent - close to everything. Again the only complaint was that I couldn't sleep at night because of the heat - but everything else was fine.

Nestled in the heart of the 8th district of Paris is the Hotel Chateaubriand. A quaint, quiet and private property that situates you within one block of the Champs Elysees, Arc of Triomphe and several upscale boutiques and businesses. Although small, the facility satifies you in a big way. You can't go wrong by choosing to stay here. Excellent staff, service and location. Comfortable accomodations visually and physically. Good location - not far from anything. Next time I would probably stay a little closer to Notre dame end of Paris. Room was lovely and very large. Staff were very pleasant, especially Andrew the Doorman/Concierge who had exceptional English and is very very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Only drama was that our room was very hot and we had to have our windows open all night, which meant we heard everything from the street below. Haa to wear earplugs every night. Pleasant but would not recommend if you are a light sleeper.

Woukd stay here in a heartbeat and would recommend it to anyone going to Paris. Beautiful, quaint hotel close to everything Paris has to offer.
