Horrible !

This hotel was absolutely a nightmare. Dirty rooms that smelled bad. The entire floor was destroyed. They were renovating the hotel and we had to quarrel a lot with them until we received some reasonable rooms. It was after a long drive and we were all tired so we had to stay there, otherwise we definitely would have searched for something else. Don't stay there !

A place to forget

The hotel wellcomes you with a nice lobby and a pretty nice restaurant and bar. All of those are OK, restaurant food very tasty and the service ok. But be aware about the rooms! They are in a very bad shape, starting with tinny doors, old furniture, a very small and old TV with the remote just for decor, not operating, bad lookin bathroom with empty recipients for shampoo and so one. Hotel seems to be for very young people in fun trip, corse they keep coming and making noise the hall time. More, they have a latge parking space in front of the hotel but they do not mentione that you have to pay extra, about 8.5 Euro for a night. Located in a bad area, former industrial one, you need a car and lot of courage to leave the place and to go far away, in the city.

nice hotel

I stayed at City Hotel Bratislava on my business trip for 2 days. It was a reasonable choice of hotel. The location of the hotel was okay although not in the city centre so you will need to take public transport to get anywhere. I liked the restaurant and meals. Staff was professional. My room was comfortable and clean.

Clean and comfortable...

I was on business in Bratislava and i chose to stay at the City Hotel Bratislava because it was very close to business center of the city. Well, i didn't made so much research about the hotel but after a 2 nights stay i left the hotel quite satisfied. The room was clean and quite comfortable including everything i needed. The breakfast buffet the hotel has to offer was rich and the food at the restaurant was tasty. This hotel provided me with a comfortable stay and could be ideal for anyone who needs somewhere clean and comfortable to stay in Bratislava.

Nice and convenient in everyway hotel

Great location - close to motorway and just 3 miles from the airport. Good decor, pleasant staff, the breakfast had a wide selection of foods-nice. Overall, very nice and convenient in everyway hotel.

Good base

I'd recommend it as a good base, being handy for the airport etc, provided people didn't want to be in the historic centre of the city. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful despite the other review I have read prior to my trip. Overall, personally me, I'd enjoyed my stay in City Hotel Bratislava.

Nice Hotel

City Hotel Bratislava is a nice hotel, now renewed and with a quite elegant hall. Even the standard rooms are comfortable and the prices are reasonable. The staff is more or less friendly but as professional as I'd expected. Overall, nice hotel.
