City Nebo Copenhagen is a mission hotel and an independent institution being run on a Christian foundation. Their philosophy is that everyone should be able to afford accommodation in Copenhagen.
The fund was founded in 1918 and the building has been a hotel since the1930's.
City Nebo offer a clean base with very good location. Staff are friendly and helpful.. All in all a good and popular choice for the budget traveller.
Its important to mention that these budget - economy rooms do not have their own facilities - You will share bathroom facilities with other rooms on the same floor.
LOCATION
City Nebo is located in the very heart of Copenhagen that situated right in front of the Central Station and just minutes from Tivoli Gardens and the Central Square.
Copenhagen's main shopping street and a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafes and bars is also just a short pleasant walk from the Nebo.
All the sights in Copenhagen (the Tivoli Gardens, the planetarium, Nyhavn (New Harbour), museums) are within walking distance of the City Nebo...

Cheap, simple hotel
The City Nebo Hotel is situated just behind the central station, so it´s very convenient if you are coming or going by train. It´s also very easy to get to the airport.
The staff is friendly and the rooms are clean, but small. You can get troubled by noise from the street or from the hallway, so take some earplugs with you!
If you only need a bed to sleep in for a night, I definitely recommend Nebo.

Nice location
Nice location & low price. Staff is friendly.
But the don't provide boiler. If you want hot water you must to buy it.

Good if you only need a bed to sleep
I stayed in one of the very cheap budget rooms. It was indeed small, and quite old fashioned. I´m a light sleeper, and had to use ear-plugs since the door and walls are very thin. I couldn´t turn down the heat, and had to sleep with the window open even in February.
There are good shared bathroom facilities in the hall, and the bed was ok. The breakfast cost 50 kr extra, and you get good value for that money. The staff was very friendly, and there are lots of restaurants in the area.
I would recommend this hotel for the budget traveller who can do without any luxuries, but wants to live conveniently close to the railway station and buses.

Ideal for budget travellers...
Me and my sister stayed at this hotel during our trip to Denmark in May this year. It is centrally located literally a stone's throw away from Copenhagen central station. Major attractions are within walking distance. The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. Well, we didn't want to spend much money so chose a room without en-suite facilities. It wasn't problem as each floor had a shared bathroom and it was quite clean. The buffet breakfast the hotel offered was ok. Nebo Hotel is an ideal place and affordable place to stay in the expensive city Copenhagen.

Budget and Brilliant!
I stayed in a little economy room at this little hotel in January 08 for 5 nights.
For the price I wasn't expecting much, however it was a wonderful hotel with the most comfy beds and a tv and basin in the room. The shared bathroom and toilets were fine- very clean and I didn't have to wait behind anyone once.
The buffet breakfast was delicious and the free internet in the lobby was also great!
All of the reception staff were kind and helpful and the location of the hotel was A+++++.
I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in town!!

Adequate Hotel for an exceptional value
No question that Nebo Hotel has a central location indeed. Everything and anything that a tourist would be interesting in is within close proximity. The hotel itself is very basic. Rooms are clean but very very tiny. The breakfast was very good, and the staff was helpful but not friendly in particular. Overall, Nebo Hotel is adequate hotel for an exceptional value.

Excellent value for money and great experience at Nebo Hotel
We had a wondeful time in Nebo hotel, Copenhagen. The location of Nebo hotel is an ideal base for travellers exploring Copenhagen. The hotel is located in the very heart of Copenhagen that situated right in front of the Central Station and just minutes from Tivoli Gardens and the Central Square. Besides, Copenhagen's main shopping street and a fantastic selection of restaurants, cafes and bars is also just a short pleasant walk from the Nebo. As for the accommodation, the room was very small but clean, but it was enough for me and my wife. The breakfast was great as it offered a very nice selection of everything. The reception staff and other hotel staff were always friendly and helpful. Basically, Nebo Hotel was an excellent value for money and the most convenient place to stay while exploring Copenhagen.

Very good location
This hotel is in a very good location, easy to reach city center and train station. Shower room (shared) is perfect, there are several shower rooms in each floor. But staffs at check-in desk are not friendly sometimes. By average, it is a good place to stay.
