brillant!!
you couldn't pick a better hotel to stay in. hotel has everything you need. 15min walk from the centre of sligo or 5 min drive. good for all ages

Disappointment
My husband and I decided to have a mid-week break and choose The clarion! What a big mistake. The room was good size - badly laid out with limited space to get in or out of bed . the room was very cold. But the most disapointing was the breakfast - cold food - cold plates - make your own toast - tea out of a catering flask - unhelpful staff at breakfast time. would never return or reccomend the hotel to anyone.

Excellent value for money
We stayed in the apartment block of Clarion Hotel Sligo and found this to be spacious and excellent value for money. We used the hotel as a base to visit our friends. While the hotel is not quite central, it did not bother us to have a short walk. We also went as far as the Giant's Causeway in Northern Ireland, which can be visited in a day. All the staff we came across was very friendly and were always eager to help. Overall a very enjoyable experience at Clarion Hotel Sligo and will definitely return.
