Average. A bit disappointed. I was expecting more...
The hotel is modern but a bit to cold for my taste. The large spaces and windows built at the entrance makes you feel like in a conference building. As they have too many large and wide windows (at the entrance) they are not clean.
The room was nice (a bit to small). Modern style, very nice bathroom with a large glass shower with no border in the floor (very convinient and comfortable...I really like it). Very important: the bed was to short. I am 1.92 and my feet were out of the bed (yea yea...it is a problem for tall people). On top of the that two huge pillows per person (4 with your couple) less space to be comfortable.
I mentioned to the Manager of the hotel and he told me that the bed was Swedish standards. I also told him that in the bathroom there was a broken light and the trash cover was also broken. He offered me another room. First I went to see it but the main problem was still there (the bed) and the bathroom had a bath (normal size). Thus, I prefered to stay at my initial room with a more comfortable bathroom.
Funny: even if the manager told me that it was good that I mentioned about the light and the trash cover and that he will send somebody to fix it (thinking that I was moving to the next room). In my five days stay at the hotel they never fix it! Too bad...gaving the chance to catch up.
TV's are old style. I was suprise not see a flat screen.
In the las floor you have a nice (very small) pool with a great view (tried to use it two times and it was always full and monopolized. The sauna was kind of cool with a nice window. But that was it. At the end I could not profit of it.
Very well located next to a metro station (important) and had some food stores around also.
I have to say that the breakfast was really good. You could eat almost everything. Nice breads, hams, cereals, fruits and of course sea food (yea yea remmember that you are in Sweden). For all tastes.In the center of Stuttgart. 3min walk from Königstrasse (principal shopping street) and Central Station. 1min from the U Bahn (underground). Excellent attention, breakfast, service, etc. Big parking under the hotel.
Spaceful rooms, with a 4 meter high roof. Large windows that can be opened. The rooms was really clean and very well illuminated. Flat screen tv mounted in the wall with a backlight. Nice bathroom. View to the back internal garden is very silent. The spa is amazing!!
It was nice to stay there but I would not come back. So if you are going for holidays I will recommend you a hotel more cousy.

Decentl hotel and nothing special
We stayed five nights at Clarion. Good location, within easy reach of the underground and just four stops from the main T Centralen stop and a couple from Gamla Stan. The hotel itself is average at best. It is quite nicely designed but nothing superficial. The room was average, small but clean. Surprisingly, our bathroom was huge and the shower stall even bigger. Weird proportions, but the room overall was comfortable. At the same time, the rest of the room was tight. The breakfast area was so much packed but the breakfast itself was really good and well stocked. All in all, Clarion Hotel came to us as a decent hotel with adequate service and accommodation provided, but nothing special.

Well-staffed by persons who remembered and greeted one; good food; brisk attention to small matters (a free voucher to a local Internet cafe provided when the business office was fully booked); clean; quiet; a few steps from a Tube / Tunnelbarna stop; ample free-time options in the neighbourhood; certainly excellent value for money.

The hotel is one of the largest in Scandinavia, with a modern minimalistic and trendy atmosphere. Better than most ind its class.
