Decent hotel at a reasonable price
We read some mixed reviews on Comfort Inn Notting Hill Hotel, but still thought to give it a shot. We did not expect much, but were pleasantly surprised with Comfort Inn Notting Hill Hotel.
It is located just round the corner of Notting Hill Gate tube station, which was very convenient to move around London. The rooms were of good size, compared to the hotel where we stayed last year. Passage leading to the room was not large, but that was hardly an issue. Clean bathroom, linen changed every day, buffet breakfast was great. The hotel personnel were all very friendly and jolly.
The lounge was a perfect place to relax in the evenings, with a drink and football on their plasma TV. We did not shop much on the Portobello Road market, because of the high prices, but made up with good deals on the Bayswater Road which was walking distance from the hotel. We managed to visit Hyde Park, Kensington Palace, Oxford Street, Little Italy, Big Ben, Tower of London and some Museums, without any problems.
I will recommend Comfort Inn Notting Hill Hotel to all who are looking for a decent hotel at reasonable price.

There are SAFES in the rooms and for ?2.00 you can keep your valuable things there. You will get a key and keep it with you.
Very nice hotel, very good location, very good breakfast and lovely staff.
I am booking this hotel by years and I am always happy to return here as I know everyone. I neved had any unpleasant experience. Everyone is so nice and polite. I stayed in the other hotels from their group over the years and I had only nice experiences.
It might have been an unfortunate situation (difficult to explain) but it is a safe hotel and a very good management. |

I had booked before I read some of the older reviews here...so I was worried. It was great - you just climb out of the subway station and into the hotel, which is pleasantly large, much of it clearly newly decorated, very clean and smelled fresh. Staff were really friendly and helped me find my way around. When you're staying close to Robbie Williams, Madonna and etc. you expect certain standards and we got it, for a really good price ! This was the only good size hotel I saw in the Notting Hill area and is in a residential street so there's little noise. Note again that Portobello Street Market is just around the corner but only open on Saturdays - make sure you make time for that. |

I stayed 2 nights on a busines trip and it was great. Room was very adequate, cleanliness was superb and breakfast was certainly worth having. Staff were friendly. Wi-Fi internet in the lobby was handy and the hotel is just 1 minute (max.) from the tube, so I could get to see clients very quickly. For evnings, there's a whole load of good restaurants closeby. Getting to the theatres took me 10 minutes. |

I had a great stay in this hotel! I have booked a room for 4 adults (myself and my friends wanted to celebrate Valentine Day in London) and we were looking for a good 3 star hotel, affordable and good quality too. My parents recommended to me as they were staying here years ago and we were complitely happy with their service. The girl from the Reception - Lenka was very, very nice. She gave us all the details possible how to travel in London, where we should have dinner, she provided for us tickets for the City Tours...whatever we requested she done her best....The housekeeping staff is very good, the bathrooms are very clean...I must say spotless. Great location, the hotel is 20 metres walking distance to the tube station - Notting Hill and just 5 minutes to Portobello Market (if you want to buy nice souvenirs just go on Saturday when the market is open and I am sure that you will find something for everyone's taste). Only one thing do not forget: follow the signs how to reach to the Reception or Breakfast room not to get lost because the hotel is very large... I will return again in this hotel, do the same...you won't regret it. |

I have stayed at this hotel before and had a large room. This stay, the room (a Single) had a Double bed, which made it limited but perfectly adequate and exceptionally well kept and clean. Full marks to Housekeeping ! Breakfast was a pleasant surprise - range of cold meats and cheese in addition to the usual fare and only ?6.00 per person - excpetionally reasonable in my experience. I shall be back ! |

I had a very good stay at the Comfort Inn Notting Hill. The hotel is very to close to Portobello Market, where you can find really interesting things and just short distance to Hyde Park.
The size of the room was excellent, I have stayed in 318 and had a very large bathroom. I was even impressed by the size of them. The room was very well equiped and the cleanliness excellent I must say. The linen was having a fresh smell as the room also.
Very nice and f riendly staff. Nicoleta - the chambermaid who cleaned my room was very good.
Excellent service, excellent rates, I will return again and stay with you. |
