Basic but a nice a value for money
I found Continental Frankfurt very cheap and nice. The front desk staff was courteous and spoke fluent English. There was a free public access internet terminal in the lobby which was a nice touch. The elevator was very small and quite slow. My double room was very clean, well maintained and quite spacious by European standards. The bathroom was reasonably sized with a good shower with lots of hot water. The breakfast was very good with a variety of hot and cold dishes. As for another good point, the hotel is well located opposite the main train station in Frankfurt, in between the river and the main shopping & business areas. Overall, Continental Frankfurt is basic but a nice value for money.
