Copper & Lumber Store Hotel Boutique is situated in Nelson's Dockyard in the historic English Harbour on the southern point of Antigua. It is approximately 16 miles from the airport and 14 miles from the capital St. John's.Each of the rooms are named after one of Lord Nelson's ships and are uniquely furnished, many with antiques and period pieces which enhance the weathered brickwork, hand-hewn beams and brass. |

Perfectly located waterside in the heart of English Harbour, the Copper & Lumber Store Hotel is a beautiful intimate Antiguan Hotel. The laid back charm and rich culture of the Caribbean melds with the colonial history of Antigua to create a luxurious romantic Antigua hotel in a unique setting.
Today the hotel is a luxurious blend of gracious living and fascinating naval history. The hotel consists of 14 rooms, each named after one of Lord Nelson's ships. All are superbly furnished in period furniture and fittings and provide the opportunity to enjoy a self catering Antiguan vacation experience with the option to dine in the many wonderful bars and restaurants within walking distance.
This intimate Antiguan Hotel is situated in the centre of historic Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour in one of the original buildings constructed by Lord Nelson during the period 1783 .It was used to store copper and lumber for ship building and maintenance. The process of authentic restoration and conversion of the property into a Georgian Inn was begun in 1982 to 1988. Today the Dockyard houses a world class marina facility providing the opportunity to vacation steps away from some of the most luxurious and famous yachts in the sailing world.

* Built in 1789 and renovated in 2003, the historical hotel consists of 14 studios on 2 floors. Perfectly located on the waterfront, this beautiful intimate Antiguan hotel offers laid-back charm and the rich culture of the Caribbean melds with the colonial history to create a luxurious romantic setting. Facilities include a lobby with a 24-hour reception and a safe, as well as shops, a bar, a restaurant and WLAN Internet access.
* There are beaches within easy reach and can be accessed via the harbour ferry or by taxi. Dive programs include the traditional Caribbean underwater attractions plus the added feature of some historical artefacts left by the ships of Nelson's Leeward Islands fleet. Special dive packages are offered. Furthermore, sailing, tennis, horse riding and golf are available and the hotel also features an entertainment programme.
* The Dockyard is surrounded by a 12 foot high, 250 year old wall, the Dockyard security officers stroll through the Dockyard and are at the entrance both day and night. The local police station is a few minutes outside of the Dockyard gate. Rest assured however, that Antigua is a safe place and peaceful island with incidents very few and far between. That said usual precautions should be taken for your own safety. |

* The hotel has fourteen rooms, each named after one of Lord Nelson's ships.
* wireless internet is available in all rooms and throughout the entire hotel. The hotel has both local and international telephone lines, and fax machine which can be used by guests. The yachts and businesses in English Harbour usually communicate by VHF radio, and guest are welcome to use the hotel VHF. |
