We stayed in the Copthorne Birmingham in July 2003 and liked it very much. Over the internet we'd booked accommodation with a three-course-dinner, which was absolutely fabulous! The waiter pampered us with three courses and additional little delicacies in between - dining in true style! A slight drawback was the fact that the room didn't have air conditioning and that it was a hot night. A fan (if not air conditioning) would have been helpful. The leisure facilities were great - very well-maintained and a pleasure to use. The hotel bar is stylish and open until 1.00. Pint of lager/bitter about 2.75 - not too much for such I nice place, I believe. |

Couldn't fault the Copthorne - stayed for a long weekend, excellent, attentive and friendly service, good 'roomy' rooms, thoughtfully adapted room for wheelchair users, huge breakfasts, less than 5 minutes from the the shoppping district of New Street to the east and the bars / restaurants of Brindleyplace to ther west. |

Stayed here for a girlie pampering weekend and shopping extravaganza and was not disappointed. Rooms were light airy and spacious overlooking the canal....... great shops in the merryhill shopping centre and great bars across from the hotel all within staggering distance..... Hotel staff were friendly and hotel provided excellent pampering facilities with gym, sauna, treatments etc Had a great time!!!! |
