Got excellent deal fom Lastminute room ?48 Fri/Sat Night. After finding the hotel the check inn was painless with plenty of parking. Lift to room was clean as was the whole of the hotel. room very spacious for two small people, bath and toilet clean and well presented. Tv reception was very dodgy, but who goes to hotel to watch telly? Cannot comment on food as we only had room booked although drinks, Lager was fairly priced at ?1.35 for half.
Whilst there we checked out the leisure facilities which are first class and again clean, although the poolwater could do with a bit more heating.
Set in very nice scenery with a courtesy bus into Cardiff (15mins away) on a staurday every hour returning on the half hour, also a large out of town shopping area (M&S plus electricals) we will definitely return should we get such a great deal again.

Stayed for one night during August, got a very good deal of ?75 and was placed in one of the connoisseur rooms on arrival. When I checked out the price at the hotel was ?220. Looking back I would be very dissappointed if I had paid ?220 for this room as it was nothing special.
Check in was very quick and easy, one of the best check ins I have ever experienced. Check out was just as quick.
The room was nice and clean and had everything you could want.
The evening meal was excellent if a little pricey for certain dishes.
The only problem with the hotel was the breakfast, firstly it was ?15 for a basic buffett, nothing out of the ordinary. The main problem was the table clearing which seemed non-existent. I was there for 20 mins and during that time at least 80% of the empty tables constantly had half eaten food and drinks on them.
I did highlight this as I left and have since had a letter from the hotel stating they are looking into this problem.
All in all a nice hotel, in a good location to get into Cardiff, if a little over priced in certain areas. If you can get a good internet deal I would stay here again.
