Overall Good
For a five star hotel, its room price tag is rather affordable. It is not in the city center, however, a metro station is literally at the door step. Don't expect the staff, especially at the reception, to be friendly. The bedroom is okay, but the bathroom is very small. The buffet breakfast is EXCEPTIONALLY GOOD! Expect to pay high prices for everything, from parking to the use of fitness facilities. |

Great views
A very nice hotel with great views over Prague. Nice comfortable rooms. Easy access to the centre via the metro. Good breakfasts, although very busy when we stayed (in August). |

Myself and my husband took a last minute break to Pague and stayed at the Corinthia towers Hotel on March 16th 2004... It was totaly amazing and by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in... we were treated like royalty and enjoyed every minute of it!!! We pampered ourselves and lived it up... We would definatley stay in this hotel again... |

I had a fantastic weekend in Prague at the Corinthia Towers. In fact the hotel made the stay for us I cannot really recommend it highly enough! I booked it through the very helpful Uk regional sales office but you can also get great offers through the groups website. I stayed on the Executive floor which is highly recommended as you get a great room with fantastic views overlooking the whole of Prague and the castle - you don't get this view anywhere else! If you stay on the Executive floor you can use the Executive lounge for free all day and have complementary drinks during the 2 hours of Happy Hour - my girlfriend had the Champagne of course! The hotel is surprisingly close to the centre of Prague with the metro stop at the hotel and 5 minutes journey time we felt like we were staying right in the centre of the city. The restaurants at the hotel were great particularly the Beer and Bowling Diner with 4 full size Bowling lanes and typical Czech Beer and Food at very resonable prices - the bowling is good fun too. We also had a little flutter in the hotel casino which was great fun if you just fancy staying in the hotels one night and eating in one of the 4 different. restaurants its a very relaxing evening. My girlfriend and I had a great weekend at the Towers.... |

Great hotel but if you dont like high rise, dont go. We were on the 18th floor with great view of the city especially after it had snowed.
The room was very clean and comfortable. Staff are polite but stuffy with some of them bordering on rude. "Madam, can't you see I'm busy" was the response one fellow traveller got at the bar for a perfectly innocent question. There's a good choice for breakfast but it's badly run: nobody tells you where to sit which resulted in someone accusing us of taking their table; you have to ask for tea/coffee but they wont reply they'll just bring it eventually; the glasses are kept yards away from the juices; etc. All a bit of a shambles. Ate in the Rickshaw restaurant one of the nights which was really nice apart from the two at the table next to us being a mere 6 inches away who were hanging on our every word. The hotel has its own taxi service which is 400 Crown into the Old Town which was the cheapest taxi we found. There is a metro stop within the hotel grounds where you can buy all different passes - the hotel sells singles only. It is a bit out of town but we found it easy enough to get in and out so would probably go back. |

As a lover of Prague The Corithinia Towers Hotel is a beautiful but imposing hotel in the Vhysrad Area of Prague affording panoramic views of the city.Being several stops on the tube from Muzeum (central tube stop)
The hotel is very imposing and can be seen from as far away as Prague Castle on a fine day.
The tube station into the city centre is a minutes walk from the hotel lobby, so access in and out of city is easy.
Most staff are fluent in English and are helpful and courteous.
Standard rooms are very comfortable and are very modern as you would expect from a 5 star hotel of this kind. Air conditioning as standard!
The breakfast is very agreeable with a huge variety! all that you could ask for!and you would expect.
The location of the hotel would be the only slight downside to this hotel, but if you like luxury and comfort then this is the hotel that I would reccommend having spent four great nights here in 2003.
Beware of pick pockets at wherever you are in Prague but particulary on and around the tube stations.Carry as little money and valuables as possible at any one time and be vigiliant but not paranoid!
The police have stepped up their prescence, particulary in the underground and this has dettered a great many potential pickpockets Im sure.
I hope this has helped! |

For Americans who are used to modern amenities, this is a very comfortable hotel. It doesn't have old world charm, but it more than makes up for it in comfort. Now it is not located near most of the tourist attractions, but it is practically on top of a subway station. Also, Prague allegedly has untrustworthy cab drivers, but the taxi services available from the Corinthia are good and fair. There are several restaurants including an Asian restaurant and an Italian restaurant (best tiramisu I've ever had) and a very affordable basement restaurant next to, of all things, a bowling alley. Breakfast offerings were terrific.
Like I said, it isn't centrally located, but the advantage there is that it allows for an incredible view of the city including the cathedral, the river and the castle. It is completely, completely worth it to splurge for an upper floor room facing the city. There was a problem w/ our room being too small for three people and the hotel quickly apologized and moved us into a upper floor suite at no extra charge. The lower room did have a really great view too, however. I was nervous about going to Eastern Europe and this hotel really made me relax. |
