When first arriving at this hotel (June 2003) I will admit that I was a bit concerned about the location. This concern was however unfounded. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome by the staff. When we had a problem with our lights on the second day the staff quickly moved us to another room and couldn't apologise enough for the inconvenience. The rooftop pool is well sheltered and has some stunning views of the Sierra Nevada mountains.The rooms are clean, spacious & cool. The restaurant is excellent and the staff at the bar cheerful and quick. There is even a handy 24 hour shop just up the street! The only fault I could find is the fact that it's a bit of a walk to any of the sights (about 15 minutes to the cathedral, 45 minutes to the Alhambra Palace).
