This is a lovely, modern hotel with friendly, attentive staff. Although it is situated on a main road, the bedrooms are well away from any intrusive noise. There is no lift but the bedrooms are at ground and first floor levels only and well-equipped. The cooked breakfast is always hot and appetizing and served by a waitress. The drinks in the bar aren't cheap but in what hotels are they? We stayed for a few nights in August 2004 in order to tour the Cotswolds and take in places like Stratford and Warwick for which the hotel is ideally located.
