very good hotel
The hotel is very good when it comes to the hotel I was greeted very good customer service is excellent, the room was spotless and had an incredible view, the food also was excellent but what I like most is its excellent location opposite the beach. I found an excellent service for a low price

I stayed at the Costa del Sol in Cartagena with my girlfriend in Dec. 2008. The rate was good at about 90. US per night which included 3 meals per day. The location of the hotel is very good, right next to a beach and a short cab ride to the Walled city. However, the hotel is in disarry. It has not been maintained and the rooms are very shabby. The furniture in the room is run down. The beds are little more than mattresses and springs sitting on the floor. The AC in the first room we were put in did not work at all. The second rooms AC was pretty good. The showers are small with very little hot water. The buffet meals were fair but pretty boring. The pool were OK but small. However, if you don't want to go to the beach, they offer a good place to get some sun and then cool off in the water.
This hotel is past its glory days and in despirit need of remodeling. If you want a good location and cheap price with rooms suited for college students on a budget, then it is right for you. If you want a comfortable romantic place for you and your significant other, then go elsewhere.
