I have stayed at this hotel several times on business. trips I stay here because it is convenient to my meetings. I can walk to them. The rooms are large and comfortable with internet access as well as an internet kiosk in the lobby. There is only one restaurant and a small health center/pool. It is not located near restaurants or the airport. (There are two hotels within walking distance of the airport) But, having said all that, this is a very comfotable hotel with spacious rooms if business brings you to this area.

We stayed here for 1 night coming back from Italy and going home. This was the least expensive hotel we stayed at for our 2 week stay in Europe. I was not disappointed. The room was nice and spacious. It is not located beside the airport so you have to take the free shuttle. When selecting the hotel, I was comparing with the new Sofitel, the Sheraton and the Hilton. All three were much more expensive so I was wondering why I should waste some Euros. After all, Crowne Plaza has good standards.

We stayed at the Crown Plaza Schipol on the last night of an 11 day Amsterdam vacation. The free hotel shuttle leaves for Schipol at the top and bottom of the hour. From the airport it leaves at a quarter til and quarter past the hour and the ride only takes about 10 minutes. Room was large with a desk, sofa. Queen sized bed was okay. High speed internet terminal in the room was available for a reasonable 15 per day. We received a token for a free welcome drink upon arrival. The pool was nothing like on their website, about half the size. In the morning there was complimentary coffee and fresh squeezed orange juice available in the lobby from 5:30 until 8:00. Not convienent to downtown but if you have business in the area or an early morning flight this is the place.

I stayed in this hotel over the Christmas holidays 2003 and was so totally pleased with every aspect of the Crown Plaza. The rooms were very spacious and modern, the staff were exceptionally professional, the restaurant was moderately priced and the selection was extensive. I would stay again and again. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Amsterdam who wants to stay in a great location and be in a hotel that offers the best of everything.

got a good deal on the room price , club room for standard room. Club really is class, club lounge (free drinks) great breakfast in comfort. worth paying for.central location, pool only tiny but who goes to Amsterdam to swim? pay a bit more and enjoy the good life.
