Very much pleased
We happened to stay at Crown Plaza during the Glasgow River Festival. The lobby was always crowded, so do elevators. However despite the crowd our check-in went smooth and we have been delighted with our room, all equipped with more than basic requirements and of course beautiful scenery out of the room's window.
The only little moment was at breakfast where we had to wait about 5 minutes to be seated, although there were quite a few tables free. To
be fair, it was extremely busy and the staff did look rushed off their feet. However, I find it important to acknoledge that the hotel's staff were extremely prompt and efficiently professional. Well, next time we would definitely choose Crowne Plaza but perhaps in quieter times. But all in all, we were very much pleased with our stay. |

Worth a try
We have visited Glasgow on our leisure time and we have chosen to stay at Crown Plaza. It's unbeatable location - easy access to shopping areas such as Braehead, Buchanan Galleries, Argyle Street , makes the Crown Plaza a great base for leisure activities.
The Reception Staff were excellent, due to unusual working hours we would arrive and depart at various hours of the day and they were always available and helpful when required.
The rooms were fantastic, very clean, decent size, large double beds, and maintained to a high standard. House keeping was prompt and seemed to take a pride in their work. The leisure facilities are also good, with Pool, Multi Gym ect. The dining area is the only area with which I think improvements could be made. But no problems with food quality. All in all a very good hotel, great location and comfy accommodation with an excellent staff services. Crowne Plaza Glasgow definitely worth a try. |

Great Hotel.... Recommended
Crowne Plaza Glasgow is a modern stylish hotel overlooking the River Clyde, with a direct link to the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre. Moreover directly opposite the Glasgow Science Centre, the new BBC and STV Headquarters and within walking distance of the Tall Ship visitor attraction.
That was an excellent choice for me as business traveller. The room and a view was spectacular. Bar and Restaurant was great in terms of quality of food and staff service.
The management team were very friendly. Crowne Plaza in Glasgow is a great hotel.... definitely recommending. |

We only stayed for 1 night and went to the westlife concert, but that one night stay was the best. As soon as we left all i wanted to do was go back to the hotel. Some of the best features of the hotel had to be the 'panoramic lift' which has a glass wall so you can see out to the city of Glasgow, It had a walkway from the hotel to the S.E.C.C. which we found was very safe and easy for young(ish) children to use themselves, also the rooms were of great cleanliness and the hotel was set it a GREAT place in Glasgow.
P.S. Westlife were GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
