I just returned from four nights at this property. The hotel is not up to par with other Intercontinental properties but it is clean, comfortable and very accomodating. We had a very pleasant stay. If in Zurich, I would stay there again, especially at the 150CHF rate I received. This hotel is an excellent value at that rate. |

I read these reviews before I went - and i was completely prepared for a horrible 2 star accomodation. I was pleasantly surprised. Yes the lobby was deceiving in comparison with the rooms, but the rooms were not altogether bad either. I got a really good deal - so perhaps for people who paid the full price for the rooms, it is not worth it.Also the location is not bad either - its a stone's throw from the tram station which takes you directly into town centre in 10 minutes. Trams are frequent and come every 10 minues as well, so we never had a problem or had to wait for long.I do agree that living in old town would have definitely been much more exciting and convenient, especially in terms of enjoying the zurich nightlife ! |
